Jacqueline White

I am Senior Lecturer and Head of Centre for the Development of Social Care Practice at the University of Bedfordshire.

I have over 20 years experience in statutory Children’s Social Care and Adult Care Management locally.

I am currently in the second year of studying for a PhD in Applied Social Sciences. I have a vested interest in social justice and the mitigation of inequalities, so my subject is around analysing the efficacy of the Widening Participation Agenda.

I love to read, but when I do not have my head in a book or journal, I enjoy the simple, magical things in life such as spending quality time with my family, puzzle books, walking and lounging in the Caribbean.
